The CIT program is a full three week camp experience for young leaders who have a desire to train as counselors and continue building their leadership skills. They will begin to transition from camper to potential staff. We not only focus on their ability to be a Summer Camp Counselor in the future with Camp Winona but their future professionalism in the work environment. They learn the expectations of the work place, how to be interviewed, and other helpful life skills.

They will also work together as a group to plan and execute their own legacy project.

Space is limited, and those that have completed our LIT program will get preference.

CITs who complete the program and receive high marks will be eligible for a Junior Counselor position. CITs are also eligible for community service hours.

Our two week Leader in Training program is for campers age 15. This is the next step before our CIT program. This program will focus on developing leadership skills, teambuilding, and life skills while enjoying their favorite camp activities.

Not sure if your younger camper is quite ready for a full overnight experience? Mini Camp is the perfect introduction to Camp for those younger campers and campers that are a little nervous. Campers will get a taste of Overnight Camp in a three day, two night experience, participating in many of our Traditional Camp activities. Give it a try and see if your camper is going to be ready for the full week.
